{Ness Lovelies} Introducing the new Ness shoes!! I am in love.

I've been waiting....waiting for the new line of Ness shoes to come out!  Let me tell you, they do not disappoint!  I am SUPER excited for these lovelies:

'Henriette' Ness shoes in Crush colourway.

I think I am in love with these tweed shoes! They are so fabulous.  I absolutely adore the scalloped border and the classic Mary Jane look.  I'm definitely going to be picking up a pair of these in 'Crush ' and maybe even another pair in the lovely 'Northern Lights' pattern!

You can see the lovely scallop detail in the photo above!  I really love this colour combination as well!

  'Melly' Ness Wellies

The 'Melly' wellies are printed wellies with an adaptation of the classic Crush tartan pattern. I really love the green trim on these!

I have a pair of 'Georgie' Wellies that I got two years ago and I wear them all the time! Especially now when it's starting to get cold.  I find it really good for Scottish weather where we have days that shift in weather a lot.  Rain. Check. Intermittent sun. check. Cold weather. check. Periods of 'super' wind. check. Awesome Wellies able to handle it all. check.

 'Georgie' Ness Wellies

The new 'Georgie' wellies are fabulous!  I am really excited about the introduction of Wellie socks including the 'Izzy' socks which are stripey and fun and the matching 'Judy' cable knit knee-high socks in teal and red!

Which is your favourite?

  3. I love the Mary Janes, especially the red ones. The scallopped edge makes them extra special. I was lucky enough to find a ness skirt in a charity shop once, i need to dig it out. It's quite short so I don't wear it much.

if i repeat it in caps, my wish will come true.

  5. Dear Debi, you're killing me with these posts. Love, love, love the shoes! And the Wellies, be still my heart. I live in a south-western section of Pennsylvania that was almost entirely settled by Scotch and Irish immigrants. The reason? The weather and topography reminded them of home, Scotland. So, I can totally relate to a half dozen or so weather patterns in a 24 hour period. It is actually a joke among weather forecasters! The new socks are perfect. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!

  6. Oh my goodness! I love the red plaid wellies. The mary janes are cute too, I just wish they had a lower heel. So when we get to Scotland next year, you are going to have to introduce me to the wonderful world of Ness! ;)

  10. I love them all, but I think I *need* the wellies. How is the sizing on your boots? Does it run big or true to size?

  11. Pink, blue, pink, blue... Oh I can't decide. They are so gourgeous. And the local shop that stocked Ness is no more. Oh that means buying online. I want them, I want them!! I wonder if I can convince Father Christmas that they are essential buying for Christmas??

  15. Yes, the rain does get in at the top of the wellies.  I have had two pairs now and within than 6 months, both pairs have let the water in through a hole in the seam.  These wellies look good, but don't have the quality required of good wellies.

  16. I found a gorgeous 'Elsie' skirt, Ness in the charity shop just today.  It is a little on the large side for me (Sz 16, I would normally go for a 14) and so I let it hang on my hips, keeps more of my legs warmer this way!  It has a gorgeous underskirt that is longer than the woollen skirt itself - a snip at £5 - I suspect it was worn once or twice!

Oohhh! Fab find! I never see Ness in charity shops...so you really scored! I've managed to venture into their sale the other day (and might have walked away with a few more things...ahem :)  just doing my part to support local businesses (that's what i tell myself!!)
